Jack the Actor

As an actor, Jack has played in most theatres throughout Ireland and has wide experience in the classics -- Shakespeare, Ibsen and Synge.

Recent work includes The Taming of the Shrew (Rough Magic), and Tom Murphy’s The Drunkard. In London he appeared in the Almeida production of The Playboy of the Western World; in Myles na gCopaleen’s The Poor Mouth and Paul Mercier’s Buddleia (which also toured to Poland).

Jack's television work includes:  Fair City (Ronan Boylan),Val Falvey TD,The Tudors, Glenroe (Detective Murray), The Family, Ballykissangel, The Ambassador, and five seasons as a presenter, writer, actor and puppeteer on Pajo’s Junkbox. 

Film work includes: 32A, Bloom, When Brendan Met Trudy, Angela’s Ashes, War of the Buttons, Snakes and Ladders, Seventh Stream, Last of the High Kings, The Van, The Snapper, Eat The Peach, Pigs  and The Drip, co-written with director Trish MacAdam.
